The phrase foodie/food blogger, unfortunately, has negative connotation associated with it due to few people resorting to unscrupulous behaviour, all for free food. The accusation is not unfounded, as few people do undertake devious ways to get invited by restaurants. As a food blogger there are a few ground rules I follow. In the spirit of that I thought I would write a whole disclaimer page on my feelings on certain topics for the benefit of the readers. Unless specified I pay for all my meals so that I capture the true essence of dining in a restaurant. All these posts can be found under “Restaurant Reviews”, and “Food and Travel“ categories.
I occasionally accept invitations to food festivals or food tasting sessions if it is interesting to me. All the articles where I write about my invites can be found under the category “Bloggers Meet.”

Blog Posts to Promote Events
Very rarely I will post about events or products that I like and agree with. This does not always mean I am paid for promoting it (and I will specifically mention in the post if I am), it usually just means that I like the philosophy of the people I collaborate with.
